Eagle Pointe Plaza Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 6:30 pm

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.                    5 Guests
Approval of Agenda:  Motion by Bassi supported by Houthoofd to approve the agenda as presented.  All Ayes.  Motion carried.
Public Comment:  One person commented.  

Approval of Minutes:  Motion by Houthoofd supported by Allen to approve minutes from August 19th, 2020 regular meeting and SAD Public Hearing from September 12th, 2020 Gypsy Moths. Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none. Motion carried.
Financial Report:  Presented by Bassi.
Budget Report:  Presented by Lewis.
Presentation of Bills:  Motion by Houthoofd supported by Alen to approve bills as presented.  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none. Motion carried.

Driveway and Parking Lot Coating-Update:  Lewis said school will split cost of Driveway and Parking Lot crack sealing.  Lewis will also contact the Iosco County Road Commission to see when they can do this. 
Browns Landing Row Abandonment:  Lewis will be looking into the procedure to do this if the Board approves.  The Board is fine with checking in on this.
Old Township Hall Pavilion Replacement:  The board agrees to tearing this pavilion down and rebuilding.
Approve 2020 Special Assessment:  3% increase- Lakes and Private Road
Chain Lake: 
Motion by Houthoofd supported by Reilly to approve 2020 Special  Assessment for Chain Lake @ $8750.00  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none. Motion carried.
Long Lake Weed:  Motion by Allen supported by Lewis to approve 2020 Special Assessment for Long Lake Weed @ $28375.00.  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.
Private Roads:  Motion by Reilly supported by Bassi to approve 2020 Special Assessment for Private Roads @ $43775.00.  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.
Approve 202 Special Assessment for Waste Site:  5% increase:  Motion by Allen supported by Reilly to approve 2020 Special Assessment for Waste Site @ $63.00  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.
Waive delinquent Sewer for Tax  Sale:  Motion by Bassi supported by Reilly to waive delinquent tax sale property #070-015-400-014-00: 520 W Main.  .  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.
Fire Dept Radios MFR :  Motion by Allen supported by Houthoofd to purchase MFR Radios including the $250.00 activation fee.  .  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.
Fire Dept 900 MHZ Handheld Radios:  Motion by Bassi supported by Houthoofd to purchase 5 radios for Fire Dept Officers including $250.00 activation fees.   .  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.
Wild Cherry Lane Gravel:  Motion by Allen supported by Bassi to purchase gravel for Wild Cherry Lane in the amount of $2800.00.  .  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.
Assessor Contract:  Will be discussed at a later date.
Board Comments:  Bassi commented that the Eagle Pointe Plaza Open House is scheduled for October 28th, 2020 6-8 pm.  We will be doing a patriotic theme.  Lewis reminded Board that Bass Lake Renewal will be September 30 at 6:00 via zoom.
