Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: Allen, Bassi, Lewis and Reilly. Absent: Houthoofd Guests 7

Approval of Agenda: Motion by Bassi supported by Reilly to approve Agenda as presented. All ayes. Motion carried.

Public Comments: One person spoke.

Board Comments: Lewis stated that the Waste Site hours going back to Wednesday 9-4. Next year we will return to Wednesday 9-6 starting May 1st thru October 1st. Tire Grant will not allow us to take commercial tires at Waste Site, so we will have extra tire trailer for Commercial Use only and the $3.00 per tire still will be paid. Lewis wants to get electric in the new pavilion. He will get two estimates. He says next spring we will look at Picnic tables. There will be a grant available from the County Parks and Rec in December. Lewis asked the board about possibly putting in for it for revamping the tennis courts for pickle ball.

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Allen supported by Bassi to approve Minutes from Regular Meeting August 21st, 2024. All ayes. Motion carried.

Christmas Décor for Garden Club: Motion by Lewis supported by Allen to allow Bassi a $1000.00 budget to order some decorations for Christmas for the Garden Club.

Waste Card additions: Motion by Lewis supported by Reilly to add the following parcels of vacant land to the Waste Site special assessment roll.

NEMCOG Proposal: Motion by Lewis supported by Allen to accept NEMCOG Proposal for the zoning ordinance and master plan updates for $32,130.00 paid by the grant. Roll call vote. Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Lewis and Reilly. Nays none. Houthoofd absent. Motion carried.

Fire Department Tanker : Motion by Bassi supported Lewis to purchase a new Water Tank truck for the Fire Department in the amount of $427,662.00. Roll call vote. Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Lewis and Reilly. Nays none. Houthoofd absent. Motion carried.

Private Road Maint Contract: Motion by Bassi supported by Allen to approve and award Private Road Contract to Melinda Caverly in the amount of $72,600.00 for 2024-2026.
Roll call vote. Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Lewis and Reilly. Nays none. Houthoofd absent. Motion carried.

Determine and approve L-4029 for 2024 establishing the 2024 millage rates: Motion by Bassi supported by Reilly to approve .7500 for the 2024 millage rate. Roll call vote. Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Lewis and Reilly. Nays none. Houthoofd absent. Motion carried.

Rob View resignation. Motion by Reilly supported by Lewis to accept Rob View resignation as MFR Captain and Fire Department. Roll call vote. Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Lewis and Reilly. Nays none. Houthoofd absent. Motion carried.

Approve Wendy Lauria as MFR Captian: Motion by Lewis supported by Allen to appoint Wendy Lauria as MFR Captain. Roll call vote. Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Lewis and Reilly. Nays none. Houthoofd absent. Motion carried.

2024 Special Assessments: Motion by Allen supported by Bassi to approve the 2024 Special Assessment with the exemption of Long Lake Weed which has been amended. Roll call vote. Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Lewis and Reilly. Nays none. Houthoofd absent. Motion carried.

Committee/Department Reports: Historical Commission cutting back to Winter Hours soon. Fire Department is having a safety day on October 15th. They are having a Trunk or Treat on October 31st.

Motion by Bassi to adjourn at 8:13 pm. All Ayes: Motion carried.
