Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly 4 Guests
Approval of Agenda: Motion by Bassi to accept the Agenda as presented. All ayes. Motion carried.
Public Comment: none.
Board Comments: The Fire Department is applying for a Grant for Wildfire/Extraction Gear. Lewis wondering if board would be interested in donating some of our old gym equipment that we have replaced to Rose City Community Center. Building Department would like to purchase a new truck. Lewis will check on prices.
Approval of Minutes: Motion by Reilly supported by Kocher to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from August 19th, 2026. All ayes. Motion carried.
Financial Report: Presented by Bassi.
Budget Report: Presented by Lewis.
Budget Amendment: Motion by Lewis supported by Reilly to accept the following Budget Amendment. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays none. Motion carried.

Library Open House: Set for October 20th
EWaste Collection Event/County Recycle Grant: There will be a countywide EWaste Collection in EPP Parking lot on Oct 12th. The County got the Grant for a Recycle Site here in Plainfield Township. Probably late 2027- early 2028.
Cell Tower: There is a potential Cell Tower going up on Chain Lake Road
Adopt the Plainfield Township Zoning Ord and Map Resolution 20260916-01: Motion by Morel supported by Bassi to adopt the Plainfield Township Zoning Ordinance and Map Resolution. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays none. Motion carried.
Approve 2026 Special Assessments: Motion by Reilly supported by Kocher to approve the 2026 Special Assessments. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays none. Motion carried.
Aprove L-4029 for 2026: Motion by Bassi supported by Reilly to approve the L-4029 Tax Rate Request for 2026. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays none. Motion carried.
Adopt Resolution 20260916-00 to continue Northern Pines Trailer Park Water System Operation. Motion by Bassi supported by Kocher to approve the Resolution to continue Northern Pines Trailer Park Water System Operation. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays none.
