Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly Guest: 14

Approval of Agenda: Motion by Bassi supported by Kocher to accept the Agenda as presented with the addition of Special Meeting Minutes April 22nd, 2025 under Approval of Minutes. All ayes. Motion carried.

Public Comments: 1 person spoke.

Board Comments: Lewis mentioned that May is First Responder Appreciation Month. Lewis also mentioned we received the $12,000 tire grant. We received the Sting bill that is already figured into the budget.

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Reilly supported by Bassi to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from April 16th, 2025 And Special Meeting Minutes from April 22nd, 2025.
All ayes. Motion carried.

Financial Report: Presented by Bassi.

Budget Report: Presented by Lewis.

Presentation of Bills: Motion by Kocher supported by Morel to pay the bills as presented. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.

Library/Historical Move: 3 people spoke. We will be making our final decision on the move at our June Meeting.

Door Opener update: Lakeshore Contracting is trying to get us on their schedule.

Pickleball Court Resurfacing Proposal: Motion by Bassi supported by Kocher to approve the Contract with Pro Surfaces in the amount of $30.000 to prepare the Tennis Courts for 4 pickleball courts. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.

Additions to Waste Card Roll SAD: Motion by Kocher supported by Bassi to add the following Parcel Numbers to the Waste Site SAD: Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried

Historical Booth at Fair: Motion by Lewis supported by Bassi to approve the rental of the Historical booth at the 2025 Iosco County Fair in the amount of $500.00 same as previous years. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried

FD air and power lines for Main 6 Bay- Colvins proposal: Motion by Bassi supported by Morel to approve Colvin proposal for new air and power lines for the Fire Department in the amount of $14,455.
Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried

Committee-Department Reports:
Historical was given a Tree Exhibit from the Besser Museum in Alpena. Tomorrow they are receiving Indian Baskets.
Planning Commission still working on zoning manual.
Lewis said there is a grant available thru T Mobile for $50,000 for department moving and extras that are involved for such as the Library and Historical Move. He will check into what this entails after the decision on the move is final.

Motion by Lewis to adjourn at 7:40 pm. All ayes. Motion carried.
