Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present:  Allen, Kocher, Lewis and Reilly.        Absent:  Morel               Guests:  6

Approval of Agenda:  Motion by Reilly supported by Bassi to approve Agenda as presented with the following additions:  Old Business: add 2b)  Lot split

All ayes.  Morel absent.  Motion carried.

Public Comments:  One person spoke

Board Comments:  Bassi commented on how nice the new lights in the middle hall showcase look. 

Approval of Minutes:  Motion by Bassi supported by Kocher to approve Minutes from Regular Meeting December 18th, 2024  All ayes.  Morel absent.  Motion carried.

Already budgeted in is the new software from BS&A and new firetruck.

Bassi may need new Quick Books software.

Lewis presented the 4% Cost of Living wages for all employees and also presented a requested wage increase for the new fiscal year.  The board will review his request.  No discussion was had on this subject. 

Waste Card Roll additions:  Motion by Reilly supported by Bassi to add the following parcels to the Waste SAD: 

#073-G30-000-038-00 and #073-R10-000-003-00

Roll call vote:  Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis and Reilly.  Morel absent.  Nays: none.  Motion carried. 

Lot Split:  Motion by Bassi supported by Lewis to approve a lot split for Patrick Brown.  Roll call vote:  Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis and Reilly.  Morel absent.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.

Dissolve Big Island Lake SAD and Refund Remaining:  Motion by Bassi  supported  by Kocher that in accordance with MCL 41.732, the Big Island Lake Special Assessment District for lake improvement is hereby dissolved and the remaining funds of $3,226.46 shall be refunded to the SAD parcel owners of record as of January 15, 2025 in the same manner as they were assessed and collected. Roll call vote:  Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis and Reilly.  Morel absent.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.

Add Brandon and Ruthie Stone to Fire Department:  Motion by Bassi supported by Reilly to add Brandon and Ruthie Stone to Fire Department-both are Medical and Firefighter certified.  Roll call vote:  Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis and Reilly.  Morel absent.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.

New Township Truck Purchase:  Motion by Bassi supported by Reilly to approve the purchase of a 2025 Ford 4×4 with plow in the amount of $57,776.00 delivered and sell the old truck by taking competitive bids.  Roll call vote:  Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis and Reilly.  Morel absent.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.

Lewis presented a quote by a Launch Media Program to oversee our Social Media starting with the Red Level at $99 a month.  Roll call vote:  Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis and Reilly.  Morel absent.  Nays: none.  Motion carried.
