Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly 4 Guests
Approval of Agenda: Motion by Lewis supported by Bassi to accept the Agenda as presented with the following addition:
13.c} Planning Commission addition-Bruce Thayer.
All ayes. Motion carried.
Public Comment: none
Board Comment: IRESA wanted to put a video in building for advertising. Board felt too much controversy with that.
Minutes from December 17th, 2025: Motion by Reilly supported by Bassi to approve Regular Meeting Minutes from December 17th, 2025. All ayes. Motion carried.
Financial Report: Presented by Bassi
Budget Report: Presented by Lewis.
Presentation of Bills: Motion by Morel supported by Kocher to pay the bills as presented.
Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.

Library Move Update: Contract has been signed for the fiber internet and we will now be on the schedule.
Drinking Fountains: Have been installed and will be coming back to set chiller and electric needs to be run.
Walking Path from School: Fred will be meeting with them again next week.
County GIS: County going forward with the contract
Sheriff Letter: Letter being sent to Sheriffs Dept canceling our contract for summer coverage.
Budget Discussion: Lewis says Revenue Sharing may be down.
Projects: School Path, Picnic tables, and more parking at RCC.
Department Needs: none at this time
Wages: Lewis wants board to think about wage increases for 2026
Equipment: Well control system for EPP
County Agreement for Election Services: Motion by Lewis supported by Bassi to approve the County agreement for Early Voting Services.

Support for Recycling Grant Application: Motion by Lewis supported by Morel to send Support Letter for Recycling Grant Application. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Roger Houthoofd resignation from Parks and Rec/Planning Commission: Motion by Reilly supported by Bassi to accept Roger Houthoofd’s Resignation from Planning Commission/ Parks and Rec. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Parks and Trail Maps: Lewis will look into prices for Trail Maps for Iosco and Plainfield to be put up in our Township Park and Kokosing Road Bike Trail Entrance.
Bruce Thayer to Parks and Rec/ Planning Commission: Motion by Bassi supported by Lewis to approve Bruce Thayer to Parks and Rec/ Planning Commission. Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Kocher, Lewis, Morel and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Committee-Dept Reports: Historical Commission is having a program on April 16th, 2026 on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
