Regular meeting
January 14, 2026
- Called to order by Olmsteadat 6:30p.m.
- Pledge of allegiance was said by all present.
- Roll Call:
a. Present: Toth,Olmstead,Johnson,Morell
b. Absent: Heal, McDonell - Guest: Patrick Ready, Zoning Administrator; NEMCOG representative,
- Approval of Agenda:
a. Motion by Tothandseconded by JohnsonMotion carried byvoice, all ayes. - Approval of Minutes: Motion by Toth, seconded byJohnsonto approve theNov 12, 2025minutes. Motion carried by voice, all ayes.
- Township board report: Library move is on hold till room is completed. Looking into recycling grant. GIS update. Bernie Nuttell is on Board of Review.
- ZBA Report: Toth:Meeting next Wednesday.
- Community comments or questions:
- New Business:
a. Dimensional requirement table: Sendzoning change for Long Lake Roadinset.
b. Housing Goals:Will update for the next meeting.
c. Plainfield housing: Adjust map for downtown overlay
d. Future land use: review maps, Changes will need to be completed to update changes made to zoning. Map needs to focus on the updates made in zoning.
e. Zoning Objectives: match up to the master plan goals
f. Community Goals: updated the focus of the document for our needs. Master plan will need to update first then put zoning updates out. Data center and Air BNB will be sent out in next week - Old Business:none
