Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Approval of Agenda: Motion by Houthoofd supported by Allen to accept Agenda as presented. All ayes. Motion carried.
Public Comment: 3 people spoke.
Board Comments: Houthoofd spoke of the Solar Panel Issue, Bassi would like to see the remainder of the ARPA money to go towards the Entrance of the Plaza. Lewis talked about the Audubon Society and that Plainfield Township did not get the Sparks Grant. Reilly mentioned that we need to get another Pavilion at the park built next spring/summer.
Approval of Minutes: Motion by Bassi supported by Houthoofd to approve Minutes from Regular Meeting September 20th, 2023 and Special Meeting October 3, 2023. All ayes. Motion carried.
Financial Report: Presented by Bassi
Budget Report/Amendment: Presented by Lewis. Motion by Bassi supported by Houthoofd to amend the budget as follows:

Final Master Plan approved and adopted by Planning Commission: Presented by Houthoofd.
Waste Site Gate/Recycle Discussion: Motion by Houthoofd supported by Bassi to order Waste Site Cards with the Barcode on them. Roll call vote: Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried. Gate arm and Recycle discussion to be at a later date.
Tree Cutting RFP info: Lewis has sent out bids for Trees to be cut around the Township
6 trees in the cemetery, Long Lake Park, Loon Lake at end of Putnam, in front of Funeral Home and Big Island Lake area. Bids are due on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023. Low Bid takes the Contract.
Special Assessment for 2023 Weeds and Roads: Motion by Houthoofd supported by Allen to accept the Special Assessment for 2023- Weeds and Roads. Roll call vote: Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Forklift Purchase: Board agreed to keep on with the Lease and revisit purchase at a later date.
Sub Lot Split-Gillespe and Bauser: Motion by Bassi supported by Allen to accept the Sub Lot Split for Gillespe. Roll call vote: Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried. Motion by Houthoofd supported by Allen to accept the Sub Lot Split for Bauser. Roll call vote: Ayes: Allen, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: Bassi Motion carried.
Loon Lake Park Sign: Motion by Houthoofd supported by Allen to purchase a sign for Loon Lake Park in th amount of $300.00. Roll call vote: Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
County Housing Grant Support Letter: Motion by Houthoofd supported by Allen to approve the County Housing Grant Support Letter. Roll call vote: Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
