February 1 2023 Special Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, February 1^st, 2023

Meeting was called to order at by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly                                   Guests: 1

Approval of Agenda:  Motion by Bassi supported by Allen to approve the Agenda as presented.  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.

Public Comment:  none

2023 Wage Discussion:  Hourly: Board proposed a 5% increase in hourly employees across the board. Officials:  Board proposed Supervisor, Clerk and Treasurer Salary to be $37,500.00.  Supervisor will then be paid for additional duties he performs at $3325.00 making his final Salary to $39,325.00.  Trustees Salary will be proposed at $5750.00.

Planter Information:  Garden club would like to add 12 flowerpots in addition to the new benches that are still waiting to be approved by State.  The Raisers for the flower pots will be done by Craig Hunt from Hunt Brothers Concrete and Twp will compensate him for that. Total cost to be approx $5000.00 for the purchase of the planters.

IT Contract:  Motion by Lewis supported by Houthoof to approve Sixty Lakes Net-Dave Kalush contract for 2023 in the amount of $2600.00.  Roll call vote: Ayes: Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.  Allen abstained.

Waste Card Roll correction:  Motion by Bassi supported by Reilly to remove Parcel # 073-K10-000-589-00 from waste roll due to building was demoed.  Roll call vote:  Ayes:  Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly.  Nays: none.

New Fitness Room Treadmill:  Will be getting more information for next meeting.

Resource Center Carpet Purchase:  Lewis discussed he would like to see us carpet the Meeting Room , Hall way and Offices at the Resource Center.  A total of 1500 square feet is what we would need to carpet.  Approximately $5000.00 total which includes labor for someone to lay it for us.  We will discuss further at next meeting.

Motion by Bassi to adjorn at 8:00 pm.  All Ayes.  Motion carried.
