Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Approval of Agenda: Motion by Bassi supported by Allen to accept the Agenda as presented with changes. Addition under Information/Discussion items are as follows: d) Londo Lake Pavilion Update and e) Boiler update. All ayes. Motion carried.
Public Comment: Joe Grimado spoke. Ron Whitney from Veterans Affairs in Iosco County spoke.
Approval of Minutes: Motion by Allen supported by Bassi to approve Regular Meeting Minutes from June 15th, 2022 ( with correction to Road Work-Towerline Road-Webb to Shellenbarger instead of North of Shellenbarger) and Special Election Committee Meeting on July 7th, 2022. All ayes. Motion carried
Financial Report: Presented by Bassi.
Budget Report and Amendment: Presented by Lewis. Motion by Bassi supported by Houthoofd to approve the following Budget Amendment: 101-265-805 ARPA expenditures change (increase) $115,856.50 with the new budget amount being $115,856.50. Roll call vote: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried
Presentation of Bills: Motion by Houthoofd supported by Allen to approve the bills to be paid as presented. Roll call vote: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried

Waste Site cost discussion: Lewis explained we will be going into deficit and General Fund will have to supplement. Talk of setting up a revolving fund.
ARPA Funds Update: Lewis says all going good.
FD Well update: Webb has given estimate of $35000.00 for 8 inch well installed, plus the cost of electrical. Lewis will pursue this with Webb Well Drilling.
State Police Update: They are getting started on their rooms.
Londo Lake Pavilion Update: Checking the plans with the Building Inspector and the Township will apply for the Grant and if it gets approved we will relook at the plans.
Boiler Update: Colvins has given us 2 quotes for two different systems. Board would like to research and also would like to get a quote from Goyette.
Fire Contracts: Motion by Bassi supported by Houthoofd to approve 2022-2023 Fire Contracts with Grant, Goodar and Hill Township. Roll call vote: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried
Meeting Times and Dates: Motion by Reilly supported by Allen to approve the Date and Time approval for 2022-2023(see attached) Meeting Dates. Roll call vote: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Depository Resolution: Motion by Bassi supported by Houthoofd to approve the 2022-2023 Depository Resolution. Roll call vote: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
New Fire Department Hires: Motion by Reilly supported by Bassi to accept Shawn Holliday and Rob View as new Fire Department Personnel. Roll call vote: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Assessing Committee: Motion by Allen supported by Reilly to approve the Assessing Committee to consist of the Supervisor and Treasurer. Roll call vote: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Private Road Bids and Possible Public Hearings: Board agreed to direct Supervisor and Assessor to set up Special Assessment District based on Low Bid. Public Hearing tentatively set for Saturday August 27th, 2022 at 10 am at the Eagle Pointe Plaza Big Hall.
Committee/Department Reports: Historical will have a table set up at the Fair. Planning Commission has approved Sunrise Motors and have approved all permits for Long Lake Campground and Food Wagon.
Board Comments: Houthoofd says he is getting a lot of slack over Long Lake Bathrooms that are constantly vandalized. Discussion included a Porta Potty, Closing the Bathrooms Permanently or build new. Reilly is doing research on checking if there would be an advantage to using BSA for Payroll, Cash Receipts and General Ledger.
West Wing Window Replacement: Motion by Bassi supported by Allen to order Windows for the West Wing. Earlier estimate was $3124.77 but may be higher now due the costs going up. Roll call vote: Ayes: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd and Reilly. Nays: Lewis. Motion carried.
Motion by Lewis to adjourn at 8:47 pm. All ayes. Motion carried.
