Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lewis followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: Allen, Bassi, Houthoofd, Lewis and Reilly. 3 Guests.
Lewis explained how the study is done and how treatment is applied. There were two options available, a millage on the November Ballot or a Special Assessment. Both were explained by Lewis. Board and guests favored assessment and Lewis will have language ready and present to the Board by next Township Board Meeting which will be August 19th, 2020. Our 2020 assessment roll has 5965 parcels total. 5691 residential, 107 ag, 153 commercial and 14 industrial.
Public Hearings are scheduled for Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 am and Saturday October 10th, 2020 at 9:00 am in the meeting room at Eagle Pointe Plaza.
Motion by Bassi to adjourn at 7:15 pm. All ayes. Motion carried.
